  • What the heck is a "sun puddle"?
    A sun puddle is the sunlight that streams through your window on a sunny day and collects on the floor. Famously enjoyed by cats and dogs who love nap in them!
  • How do I know that the teddy is clean if it's second hand?
    All of our teddies are thoroughly quality checked on arrival, where they then enjoy a special bubble bath to ensure they are squeaky clean for their journey to their new home!
  • How long will it take for my teddy to arrive?
    Once your order has been placed, we let your teddy know that he is off to his new home. He helps us to pack his things and then sets off on his journey ready to arrive at your home around 3 to 5 business days later.
  • What is a CE/UKCA label?
    Simply put, a CE and UKCA label mean essentially the same thing. All toys manufactured in the European Union must have a CE mark. This mark means that the manufacturer followed all of the health and safety standards, and as such, the product is safe for the consumer, and in this case, children under the age of 14. Since Britain is no longer part of the European Union, the UK has created it's own mark to use, this is the UKCA mark. This mark indicates that the manufacturer followed all health and safety standards set out in Britain. At Sun Puddle Adoption, we don't manufacture any of our teddies, they are all second hand. Due to this, some of our teddies do not have a CE or UKCA mark, which means we cannot list them as "toys" and that they are not recommended for any persons under the age of 14.
  • What if I'm not happy with my teddy?
    We understand that you may need to return your teddy after purchase. We accept returns and will offer a full refund excluding shipping costs on return of your teddy within 30 days of postage. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
  • How can I donate a teddy bear?
    Please use the contact us form on the donations page to ask for the shipping address for donations and pop a note into the box to let us know the donation is from you and then we we receive it we will send you a 50% off discount code to use on the site as a way to say thank you! There is no limit on how many teddies can be donated, and 10% of every sale is donated to our chosen charity of the month! We also accept teddies who are in need of a little TLC, whether that be stitching or adding some extra stuffing! The only things we don’t accept are plastic toys such as barbies, and teddies with electronic functions (this is because we can’t guarantee the safety of the wiring and electrical components).
  • Where do you ship to?
